Meet the Optometrists


  • Dr.
    Marc Sherman

    Dr. Sherman is a board certified Optometric Physician; specializing in Behavioral and Developmental Optometry. Dr. Sherman received his Bachelor of Science in 1969 from the Massachusetts College of Optometry. In 1970 he received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Massachusetts College of Optometry, and continued his Residency in Visual Training at the Optometric Center of New York. In 1971 he joined the US Air Force and was stationed at the McCoy Air Force Base, where he was the Director of the Optometry Clinic until 1973. In 1973 after leaving the US Air Force, Dr. Sherman opened his own practice in Longwood.

    Dr. Sherman is presently a Preceptor of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is a fellow at the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. He has been in practice for over 40 years; his passion to vision therapy has evolved in the past several years specializing in Children on the Spectrum, Down Syndrome, TBI patients, and Athletes. He is an active supporter of the Private Schools, Down Syndrome Society, and The Autism Society.

    He currently lives in Seminole County with his wife. He has two grown up children and two grandkids. His passion is football and spending time with his family.

    Kelly ‏‏‎ ‎

    Dr. Kelly is a board certified Optometric Physician. She received her Bachelor of Science, majoring in biochemistry, in 2019 from the University of New Brunswick. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2022. She is a current member of the American Academy of Optometry and the Florida Optometric association.

    Dr. Kelly was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada. After spending time at the practice as an intern working alongside Dr. Sherman, Dr. Kelly joined our practice in August 2022.

    Dr. Kelly enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and familyincluding her puppy, Moose!
